Got It Down

I took a video the other night of Elijah walking, since he's got it down pretty well. He still crawls, especially if he wants to get there fast, but he is becoming more comfortable and steady with his walking. Enjoy!

Oh yeah, I found something he doesn't like. Orange juice. Geoff says he's not surprised, it'll be something he learns to like later. He prefers his juice to be apple.

15 Months

Elijah had his 15 month check up on Friday. It meant more shots, which he did not like (who would). But now the number of vaccines will decrease. Dr. Rich was pretty pleased with his growth. Elijah is now 30 inches tall, and weighs 22 lbs 8 oz. His next appt will be his 18 month check up in September.

He's such a sweet little boy. We think he's teething, but it's hard to see. He's been a little grumpier than usual, but on the plus side he's been sleeping great at night and during the day.

California Updates

Here are a few of Elijah's highlights from California (or we assume):

- playing with Julia (yay! someone his age!)
- watching Daddy finish the marathon
- first taste of In-N-Out
- playing with all the cats & dogs
- adding 'hi' and what sounds like 'kitty cat' to his vocabulary
- free food at Disneyland (tortillas & sourdough bread)
- a lot of time with the godparents
- walking on the beach (and walking everywhere else
- all the Kroliks, Stanleys, & Gustafsons to play with
- meeting new people
- spending time with his second cousin Kelly
- going to the pool with Alyssa & Abbie

I'm happy that he is back to sleeping 12 hours a night, getting up at 6am every day, regardless of bedtimes (his or ours) was harsh. I think he's got croup again, but he has his 15 month check-up on Friday, so we'll get Dr. Rich to look at it.

I Love California

I'll post more about Elijah's adventures tomorrow. Right now we're trying to get settled back into our routine.
