Nana's Pictures

Nana (Diane) has uploaded some pictures from her visit.

After a few rough nights, we were rewarded with a good one last night. He went 4 hours between feedings, so we were able to get in 3 hours sleep between feedings. I wish it could be like that all the time.

Smile Time

Saturday we got to see Elijah's first smile, it was at Daddy (of course). Since then I've been trying to capture it on film (so to speak), but this was as close as I could get.

Elijah has been quite the handful. He's been having some problems, and we thought we may have it figured out. But he's been much better the last 2 days. We're reluctant to take him in to the doctor, since we'd rather not pay for a doctor's visit, since we'll be at the doctor on May 16. Mind you, if we get to the breaking point, I'll take him in.

He's getting bigger, or at least longer everyday. He's starting to fit into more clothes. He's still a very strong baby. He can stand pretty well when Daddy is holding his hands.

Can't wait until we get to bring him to Canada. Hopefully we'll know soon when that will be. Also wanted to mention that I'm adding more photos of him when i can. Please see the links on the right side of the page for when new photos are added. If Nana posts pictures from her visit on her webpage, I'll be sure to tell you.

One Month Old

Okay, I took this picture yesterday, but today he is one month old. He can roll from his tummy to his back.

Antibodies

I have a cold, Geoff is still trying to get his to leave, so please pray that Elijah is getting my antibodies and he won't get sick. He seems okay so far. But trying to do mommy duties while I feel so tired and just want to sleep is hard. (Get used to it, right Lisa?) So also pray for Mom & Dad to have extra patience.

Elijah is doing better with his fussiness. Or at least that's how it seems to me. He isn't napping much during the day, and he isn't keen on settling down to sleep at night. But once we get him to sleep, he's sleeping pretty well.

Future Babysitters

We HAVE TO move back to Irvine! We already have babysitters lined up who think Elijah is the bee's knees.
